Youth Ministry
All 6th-12th Graders Are Welcome!
Deep Connections
Our youth ministry fosters a strong sense of connection with others, where each individual is valued and nurtured and all are accepted as God’s unique creations.
Our youth are an integrated and visible part of the congregation and are involved in the full life of the church. We have dedicated adult leaders who support and guide our youth as they navigate through the challenges of being a young person in today’s world.
Our youth recognize, value and embrace the responsibility of answering God’s call to love and serve all people. Saint Andrews’ youth ministry inspires spiritual growth that actively engages each individual in a lifelong walk with Christ.
Youth Group
What to expect
Youth Group meets from 5:30-7:30pm on Sunday nights from September to May. We begin in the Fellowship Hall for dinner, and then move to the Youth Space for games, conversation and activities. Together, we explore scripture, what it means to live as a Christian, play & laugh, pray, and share our lives with one another! This year’s theme is “The Little Things”.
Confirmation
Confirmation is an intentional time for youth in 8th grade and up to dig deeper into their faith, ask tough questions, and consider what it means to live a life of faith in Christian community. The Confirmation experience is offered every other year at Saint Andrews.
The next Confirmation process will begin in the fall of 2026. Please contact our Director of Children, Youth & Family Ministry for more information.
Gatherings for Parents & Caregivers
“Let’s Talk” Events
As youth grow up it’s normal for them to pull away and become more independent. But how do parents and caregivers engage their youth in conversations about the things that really matter? How do we talk about faith and sexuality or anxiety or the challenges of social media and technology use? SAPC Youth offers occasional gatherings for parents and caregivers to hear from our youth and an expert in the field, and talk together about the tough issues facing young people.
Meetups
Parenting and raising tweens and teens is hard! But you aren’t alone! These monthly gatherings bring parents and caregivers of youth together for conversation and connection in an informal and unstructured setting. Events are held off-site and all are welcome!

What Questions Do You Have?
Reach out to Anne Stark, our Director of Youth and Family Ministry, below!
I love walking alongside our youth and their families through the middle and high school years. They teach me so much about God and our world and they make me laugh a lot! I enjoy watching them grow and discovering who God is calling them to be!
