Congregational Care
A Community of Comfort, Support, and Hope
Joys and Concerns
Have you experienced a birth, marriage or death you would like to share with your church family? Whatever you’re facing, you’re not alone.
Pastoral Care
Offers compassionate support through an on-call pastor for members and friends of SAPC.
Care Network
Providing Christ’s love, comfort, and compassion to individuals and families in need.
Stephen Ministry
Provides confidential one-to-one lay Christian care. While they are not professional counselors or therapists, pastors or physicians, they are trained and supervised volunteers who offer support by listening, praying and encouraging.
Prayer Team
There is power in prayer. Join us in lifting up our congregation each week, praying for those in need of hope, strength, and support. Together, we create a caring spiritual network that surrounds our church family with love and encouragement.
Bereavement Care
Our Bereavement Ministry supports individuals and families who are grieving the death of a loved one. We offer compassionate listening, resources for navigating grief, and ongoing encouragement as you journey toward healing.
Alongside You
Our Health Ministries and Faith Formation teams host ongoing Alongside You groups to support people as they navigate specific life challenges. These groups offer time for fellowship, support and sharing. Members and visitors are welcome to join the groups at any time.
Prayer Shawl Ministry
The Prayer Shawl team lovingly creates handmade shawls, blankets, and other knitted or crocheted items that are prayed over as they are made. These gifts are given to those who are ill, grieving, or in need of comfort, serving as a tangible reminder of God’s peace and the prayers of our church family.
Angel Care Team
The Angel Care Team provides short-term, practical assistance to individuals and families facing difficult circumstances—whether through meals, supportive visits, cards, or other acts of kindness. Their mission is simple: to be the hands and feet of Christ in moments when extra care is needed.
