How are we doing in our own political attitudes and actions towards others? As we think about developing a Christian response to political polarization it is helpful to engage in some personal reflection on our own political attitudes and interactions. Some questions we want to think about are:

• Are there things I do or say that contribute to polarization?
• How often do I take actions to try to lessen polarization and build bridges?

In order to help reflect on these questions,  please review the brief self-assessment on page 3 of the event’s Participant Guide, and consider your responses.    We’ll have copies of the this entire Participant Guide at the event for your use. 

The assessment is for your personal reflection and will not be collected. The sole purpose is to help you think honestly about how you deal with political polarization.  And it might be helpful to share insights that we’ve learned about ourselves as the spirit guides us through our discussion.
